Lutron Sivoia Horizontal Sheer Blinds

Lutron Sivoia horizontal sheer blinds combine the soft appearance of a fabric shade with the adjustable light control of a blind. Pricing is custom-quoted based on window size, vane size, fabric, top treatment, low-voltage power, controls, and professional installation.

Soft fabric vanes are suspended between sheer fabric layers. The vanes can tilt between open and closed positions, allowing homeowners to preserve the view, diffuse sunlight, or increase privacy without raising the complete treatment.

At ynVISION, we professionally measure, install, wire, and program Sivoia horizontal sheer blinds throughout New Jersey.

Key Features of Horizontal Sheer Blinds

Motorized Lift and Vane Tilt

Sivoia horizontal sheer blinds provide motorized control over both the height of the blind and the angle of the fabric vanes.

Raise the entire treatment to expose the window, lower it to cover the glass, or adjust the vanes to control light and privacy while the blind remains lowered.

The sheer fabric layers soften direct sunlight and diffuse views into the room. Even when the vanes are open, the sheer material provides more privacy than an uncovered window.

The system operates using dedicated 35-volt low-voltage power.

Soft Fabric with a Finished Architectural Appearance

The available blind width depends on the selected fabric-vane size:

  • Two-inch fabric vanes: approximately 18.5 to 96 inches wide

  • Three-inch fabric vanes: approximately 24 to 114 inches wide

Final size availability depends on the selected fabric, blind height, top treatment, and mounting conditions.

Available design options include:

  • Two-inch fabric vanes

  • Three-inch fabric vanes

  • Three light-filtering neutral colors

  • Three room-darkening neutral colors

  • Fabric-wrapped fascia

  • Recessed installation

  • No factory top treatment

A fabric-wrapped fascia coordinates with the selected vane material and conceals the headrail and mounting hardware. A properly planned recessed installation can conceal the mechanism within the surrounding architecture.

Flexible Control of Views, Light and Privacy

Horizontal sheer blinds provide multiple levels of control from one motorized treatment.

Open View - Open the vanes to maintain a connection to the exterior while the sheer layers soften the view into the room.

Filtered Daylight - Partially tilt the vanes to diffuse direct sunlight and reduce glare without fully closing the treatment.

Increased PrivacyClose the vanes for stronger privacy and light control, or raise the entire blind when an unobstructed view is desired.

The blind can be operated from Lutron keypads, remotes, compatible apps, schedules, and customized scenes.

Quiet Movement and Accurate Vane Alignment

Sivoia horizontal sheer blinds are designed to maintain a consistent appearance across adjacent windows.

  • Quiet Motorized Operation - The blinds operate at no more than approximately 38 dBA when measured three feet from the drive unit.

  • Accurate Vane Alignment - Adjacent blinds maintain consistent vane positions, creating uniform light control across a group of windows.

  • Coordinated Top Treatment - The fabric-wrapped fascia matches the selected vane color and conceals the headrail and mounting hardware.

Three Ways to Manage Natural Light

Horizontal sheer blinds allow the window treatment to change with the room throughout the day.

  • Preserve the Exterior View - Open vanes allow light and exterior views to pass through the sheer layers.

  • Create Soft, Diffused Daylight - Partially closed vanes reduce direct sunlight and create a softer interior atmosphere.

  • Increase Evening Privacy - Close the vanes and coordinate the blinds with the room’s lighting as part of an Evening or Privacy scene

Connect with Lutron Controls - System compatibility depends on the communication configuration selected for the blind. RadioRA 3 and Caséta PRO installations use an appropriate QS wireless configuration, while HomeWorks can support the appropriate QS wired or QS wireless configuration. ynVISION specifies the correct power and communication components for each project.

Horizontal sheers are available in light-filtering and room-darkening materials, but they should not be described as a completely sealed blackout treatment.
