Lutron Palladiom is a luxury exposed-roller shade designed to make the brackets, bottom rail, and shade hardware part of the room’s architecture. Pricing is custom-quoted based on window size, fabric, metal finish, mounting conditions, power requirements, controls, and professional installation.

Unlike conventional roller shades that hide their hardware inside a fascia or ceiling pocket, Palladiom features exposed brackets milled and hand-finished from solid aluminum or brass.

Architectural Hardware Designed to Be Seen

Palladiom transforms the functional components of a motorized shade into carefully finished architectural details.

The exposed brackets conceal the electronics while displaying the hand-finished metal surfaces. A curved Palladiom bottom rail follows the shape of the fabric roll and nests behind it when the shade is fully raised, helping the hardware nearly disappear from view.

Wired Palladiom shades use dedicated 35-volt low-voltage power. The wiring can connect to individual power supplies or a centralized Lutron shade power panel, depending on the number of shades and project design.

Custom Finishes, Fabrics and Architectural Sizes

Wired Palladiom shades can accommodate windows from approximately 20 to 144 inches wide and 24 to 168 inches high. Final size limitations depend on fabric selection, shade height, mounting conditions, and engineering requirements.

Palladiom hardware is available in seven architectural finishes:

Hundreds of designer fabrics are available in different colors, textures, and openness factors. Options include sheer solar fabrics, privacy fabrics, decorative materials, and blackout fabrics.

Integrated Palladiom Shade Control

Palladiom shades can operate individually, as a room, or as part of an entire Lutron lighting and shading system.

Lutron Keypad Control - Program a Palladiom keypad or another compatible Lutron keypad to raise, lower, stop, or recall a preferred shade position.

App and Schedule Control - Use the Lutron app to operate the shades and create schedules based on time of day, sunrise, or sunset.

Personalized Scenes - A single button can coordinate the shades with the home’s lighting. A Movie scene can lower the shades and dim the room, while a Good Morning scene can open selected shades and gradually raise the lights.

Quiet Movement and Precise Alignment

Palladiom combines luxury materials with Lutron’s motorized-shade technology.

Ultra-Quiet Operation - Wired Palladiom shades operate at less than approximately 35 dBA when measured from three feet away.
Intelligent Hembar Alignment - Lutron’s alignment technology monitors the shade movement and maintains the bottom rails within approximately one-eighth of an inch across adjacent windows.
Flexible Bracket Styles - End, center, and jamb brackets support different wall- and ceiling-mounting arrangements. The compact exposed assembly occupies no more than approximately 3.25 inches of vertical space.

Luxury Daylight Control Throughout the Home

Palladiom shades provide precise control over sunlight, glare, exterior views, and privacy without concealing the product’s architectural details.

Sheer Solar Control - Sheer fabrics filter sunlight and reduce glare while preserving the view outside.
Privacy and Blackout Options - Privacy fabrics diffuse daylight and limit visibility through the material. Blackout fabrics prevent light from passing through the fabric and are ideal for bedrooms and media rooms.
Automated Natural Light Management - When integrated with a compatible Lutron system, Palladiom shades can automatically adjust according to programmed schedules and changing daylight conditions.
Correct System Configuration - System compatibility depends on the communication configuration selected for the shade. RadioRA 3 and Caséta PRO installations use an appropriate QS wireless shade configuration, while HomeWorks can support the appropriate QS wired or QS wireless configuration. ynVISION specifies the correct power and communication components for each project.
