Tunable White and Warm Dim in One Fixture

Lumaris downlights provide a 1800 K-4000 K color-temperature range, matching the rest of the Lumaris family. Warm settings recreate the familiar appearance of dimmed incandescent lighting, while cooler white settings provide clearer illumination for kitchens, offices, bathrooms, and everyday tasks.

The fixtures deliver 90+ CRI throughout the tunable-white range and provide two-channel, continuous, flicker-free dimming from 100% down to 0.1% of measured light output, helping finishes, furniture, artwork, food, and skin tones appear natural across different lighting levels. Lutron notes that full tunable-white performance is maintained from 100% down to 1%.

Intelligent Recessed Lighting for New and Existing Homes

Lumaris downlights are available in two installation styles. Current retrofit models fit 4-inch or 5-inch/6-inch recessed housings and require at least 3 inches of housing depth. Canless "remodeler" models install directly into a finished ceiling through a new cutout: 4.25-4.5 inches for the smaller model and 5.25-5.5 inches for the larger model, in ceilings 0.5-1.25 inches thick.

The current family includes a 4-inch retrofit, a 5-inch/6-inch retrofit, a 4-inch canless model, and a 6-inch canless model. The smaller products use a 3-inch optical aperture and the larger products use a 4-inch optical aperture. Every current model delivers 800 lumens at 8.5 W on 120 V, with a 0.5-inch regress and a diffusive white lens to reduce glare. Permanently attached white or black trim options coordinate with the ceiling. Canless versions are Type IC rated and inherently protected; retrofit versions are suitable for Type IC and non-IC housings.
