Ketra goes beyond brightness and color temperature. Its full-spectrum light engine gives designers greater control over how white light interacts with artwork, furnishings, finishes, and architectural details.

Lutron calls one of these capabilities Vibrancy. Instead of simply making light brighter, dimmer, warmer, or cooler, Vibrancy adjusts the spectral composition of white light to change how colors within the space are rendered.

Ketra gives homeowners and lighting designers multiple ways to shape the appearance of a space. Tunable white, Vibrancy, and full-color lighting are separate capabilities that can each be used to create a different visual experience.

Ketra provides an exceptionally broad range of white light, from very warm 1,400K illumination to crisp 10,000K white light.

This allows a room to feel warmer and more intimate in one scene, brighter and more daylight-like in another, or transition naturally throughout the day.

Change How Colors Are Rendered

Lutron describes Vibrancy as a third dimension of lighting control.

While maintaining the selected color temperature, Ketra can adjust the spectral composition of the white light. This changes how colors within artwork, furniture, fabrics, finishes, and other objects are perceived without simply changing the room to a visibly colored light.

Vibrancy can be adjusted from 0% to 100%, giving the lighting designer another tool for tailoring the appearance of the space.

Full-color lighting is different from Vibrancy.

Ketra can also produce millions of colors, allowing lighting scenes to move beyond white light entirely. Saturated colors, subtle pastels, and custom color experiences can be used for entertaining, architectural effects, artwork, or special occasions.
