Key Features of Lutron Lumaris Lighting

Tunable White and Warm Dim in One Family

Lumaris covers a coordinated white-light range from about 1,800K to 4,000K.

It can move from a warm, incandescent-like glow to a clearer white for task lighting, and dims down to about 0.1%. Lumaris also carries a published CRI of 90 or higher, which helps furniture, finishes, food, and other interior colors look closer to true.

Lumaris Lighting for Ceilings and Architectural Details

Lumaris remodeler downlights use integrated canless housings that install through a finished ceiling. Retrofit downlights are built to upgrade compatible existing recessed cans.

The tape-light family includes:

  • Tunable-white tape for a coordinated white-light layer

  • RGB plus tunable-white tape for white light and saturated color

  • Field-cuttable flexible tape for straight or select curved runs

  • Aluminum extrusion options for different mounting, diffusion, and lens needs

That covers general lighting, under-cabinet lighting, shelves, coves, toe kicks, mirrors, and decorative architectural accents.

Independent Intensity and White-Light Control

Compatible Lutron systems can adjust brightness and color temperature separately, rather than treating the tape or downlight like an ordinary dimmed fixture.

Day/Night Mode with RadioRA 3

RadioRA 3 supports Day/Night Mode for compatible Lumaris tape lighting. The installer can program separate daytime and nighttime brightness and temperature and put it on a keypad button.

Natural Show with HomeWorks QSX

HomeWorks QSX supports Natural Show programming for compatible Lumaris products. This is a separate feature from RadioRA 3's Day/Night Mode and shouldn't be marketed as the same thing.
