Lutron Palladiom Thermostat for Homeworks

The Lutron Palladiom thermostat carries the same clean design as the Palladiom keypads into a properly integrated heating and cooling control.

It handles local temperature, setpoint, mode, and fan adjustments while talking to a HomeWorks system over the low-voltage QS link. Keep in mind it has to be paired with the right Palladiom HVAC controller or an approved interface for your specific HVAC equipment. It isn't a standalone consumer Wi-Fi thermostat you can just plug in.

Key Features of the Palladiom Thermostat

Coordinated Design and Adaptive Illumination

Palladiom thermostats come in select plastic, glass, and metal finishes made to match the Palladiom keypads.

The backlit screen and buttons use Dynamic Backlight Management to adjust brightness to the light in the room. The display shows Fahrenheit or Celsius, and the local controls give you access to whatever functions are enabled for your HVAC system.

Built for Multiple Heating and Cooling Systems

Paired with the right controller or approved integration, the HomeWorks Palladiom HVAC setup can handle many residential systems, including:

  • Conventional forced-air heating and cooling

  • Gas, electric, or oil heat

  • Heat-pump systems with supported staging

  • Fan-coil units

  • Hydronic or electric underfloor heating

  • Separate heating and cooling equipment run through one thermostat

  • Selected VRV and VRF systems through approved manufacturer interfaces

Check compatibility for your exact equipment, control method, firmware, interface, and region before ordering the thermostat.

Temperature Control That Works with the Whole Home

Seven-Day Scheduling

HomeWorks supports programmable HVAC schedules with events based on clock time or sunrise and sunset.

Vacation and Alternate Setpoints

The system can switch to alternate temperature settings for Away or Vacation modes, cutting down on unnecessary heating or cooling when nobody's home.

Multiple Thermostats and Sensors

A supported zone can run a master thermostat alongside companion thermostats. Depending on the product and software version, the system can average temperature readings across multiple thermostat sensors and compatible remote sensors.

A Professionally Engineered HVAC Interface

  • HomeWorks QS and QSX Compatibility: Works with supported HomeWorks processors.

  • QS Power and Communication: Runs on 24–36 V low-voltage power through the QS link.

  • Local Adjustments: Lets you change setpoint, operating mode, and fan mode where the HVAC setup supports it.

  • Power-Failure Memory: Keeps its settings after the power comes back on.

  • Remote Sensor Support: A wired flush-mount sensor can step in where the thermostat's own location wouldn't give an accurate room reading.

  • System Continuity: The HVAC controller can keep running through a communication drop if the required remote sensor is installed.

  • Professional Programming: HVAC behavior, schedules, lockouts, setpoints, and how it interacts with scenes all get set up in the HomeWorks software.

  • Proper Placement: Lutron recommends mounting it on a dry interior wall, away from drafts, doors, windows, direct sun, supply registers, and other heat sources.

Professional Palladiom HVAC Planning

A good installation starts with the HVAC system, not the thermostat's finish. The project needs to nail down equipment type, stages, fan control, valve control, heat-pump requirements, VRV or VRF interfaces, sensor locations, wiring, and the HomeWorks programming.

ynVISION handles the HomeWorks and thermostat side of the project alongside the homeowner's HVAC contractor, electrician, builder, and equipment manufacturer. We cover control-system design, QS wiring coordination, programming, scheduling, scene integration, and homeowner training across Northern New Jersey.
